Ultra-Thin Marine Protection Grade Glass Flake KCF-015

  • Product description: Kmeris is a leading manufacture of glass flake, also it is an engineered, performance enhancing mineral products developer. Following an initial research project in the early 1999s to manufacture glassflake for anti-corrosive coatings, the development of the ‘spun method’ of production has enabled the material to expand into a broad range of applications, such as marine protecting coating,  industrial anti-corrosive heavy-duty coating, glass flake reinforced epoxy coating, plastic, rubber, pigment and so on!

With the advent of glass flake markets developing, particularly in the anti-corrosion coatings sector, many different glass flake qualities were developed to suit the differing application requirements. Qualities are available with varying thicknesses, particle size diameters and glass compositions giving flake of varying performance. It is important to understand the effect of flake thickness and glass composition on overall coating performance.

Kmeris' Ultra-Thin Marine Protection Grade Glass Flake KCF-015 is a ultra-thin grade. it is an anti-corrosive Glass Flake manufactured from a modified C glass, thinnest and narrowest glass flake of the NCF series.

Application:

Glass flakes are widely used in anti-corrosion adhesives, anti-corrosion coatings, plastic products, petroleum development, marine facilities, chemical industry, power, hydropower plants, painting, metallurgy, sewage treatment, nuclear facilities, smoke exhaust and desulfurization equipment, bridge anti-corrosion, special coatings, pearlescent pigments, and construction fields.
